Stall Holder Regulations
The Show will try to comply with Trader’s requirements but can’t guarantee individual sites.
General Regulations
Traders / stall holders will be responsible for maintaining – and leaving their pitch in a clean and safe condition. All waste from traders / stall holders must be taken away by themselves and not disposed of in showground waste bins. Failure to do so will result in a £50 litter picking surcharge. Photos will be taken as evidence and you will not be welcomed back in subsequent years. We take the care and condition of the showground very seriously.
The selling of goods by auction, shouting or other behaviour deemed to be annoying to visitors or exhibitors, is strictly forbidden. Exhibitors / stall holders infringing this regulation are liable to have themselves and their goods ordered out of/or removed from the Showground. We ask that all exhibitors / stall holders are respectful at all times to both the members of the public and other stall holders.
For any stalls selling food, good food hygiene should be practised on site. Any food businesses must be registered with the local authority, display their food hygiene rating on site and comply with current legislation.
Every exhibitor / stall holder shall be solely liable for any loss, injury or damage that may be done to or occasioned by or arising from any article or property exhibited or brought on to the Showground by or for him, and he shall indemnify the Society on account of or in respect of such damage or injury.
On arrival to our site...
On arrival at the Showground all exhibitors / stall holders MUST report to a show marshal prior to setting up in their allocated space. Marshalls will be posted at the entrance to the Showground and will be wearing high visibility jackets and Waingroves Show ID badges to help identify them. Please don't hesitate to ask us for any assistance you or information you require. For Health and Safety reasons, we are unable to allow Exhibitors / stall holder’s vehicles to drive around the Showground unless accompanied by a Show Marshall who will escort you.
Arrival times are strictly 8:30am-10:30am & 12noon-1pm - no exceptions.
Cars may be taken onto the field to unload and set up your stall however MUST be removed from the showground prior to the show starting. Exceptions can be made but you must notify the show in advance. In these cases the car must be kept behind the stall for the entire duration of the show and cannot be removed until after the show has concluded.
Other Information
As a general rule, we assume stall holder's stalls to be approximately 3mx3m as the standard size for most pop up gazebos. If your stall is a different size to this then please let us know so we can better accommodate you.
As the showground is on a field, the ground may be uneven in places and Waingroves Show cannot guarantee a completely flat surface for you to set up your stall on. If this poses a problem then please message the show and let us know and we will try to accommodate this in our plan.
CATERING FACILITIES AND TOILET FACILITIES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON SITE.
